BATTERY-PACK FOR 1266X

I wondered if anyone out there would know where i can find replacement battery pack holders.....there are to plastic holders...each holds 4 AA batteries. I left old batteries in detector way too long and of course ruined the holders......I tried e-mailing Fisher about 2 weeks ago on 2 different occasions and have not gotten a response......thanks for any help.

I had same problem, except I needed them for a 1260x. Go to Fisher's website, get the phone number and call them. that's what I did. Bought 2 of the battery holders and a coil cover for my cz5. That and shipping was, I think, $16.80.

Just call Fisher and talk to a real person, tell them what you need and they will ship it right away. Emails are too easy to ignore. I received the ones I ordered in about a week.

A little warning on battery brands NOT to use in your Fisher "X" series battery holders. Kodak batteries are a little longer in length, they WILL break your battery holders:veryangry: they break them near the terminal ends, and that causes erratic operation of your machine, check your packs very carefully, look for hairline cracks at either end.........NGE
