New member
is the battery pack 1800's the for the explorer the largest pack available for the explorer, and where is there a good price for them

Don't know if you have anything similar where you are but over here we have a supermarket that does weekly specials.
This week they have AAs 2500mAh rechargeable batteries on sale for

I think you can go to batteries + or similar business and have them make you one up for about 1/3 the price you can buy them retail for..Thats what I am gonna do..

I got some rechargeable Pannasonic's last year while at Cabella's with the fast chargers. I got either 2300 or 2500 don't quite remember but they work fantastic. Charge quick and last longer than original packs as there is a good MAH difference between 1800 and 2300 or 2500.

If you are looking for the Minelab 1800 rechargeable pack they cost allot but they will last for many years. I have not seen them for under a 100.00 bucks.
