Battle of Medina Hunt 6/4/2009 in San Antonio

On 6/4/2009 there will be an organized hunt in San Antonio TX in regards to the Battle of Medina. Dan Arellano from Austin TX is organizing the event. The battle site has never been located but is known to be in the vicinity of South San Antonio. Twice per year Dan obtains permission from ranchers in the area to allow folks with metal detectors to search the property for evidence of the battle. I participated in one of the two hunts last year and both proved negative as to finding the location of the battle.

Everyone is invited and the cost is nada. We are meeting at 0700 at the Shell/McDonalds at/near the intersection of Hwy 281 and Loop 410 in San Antonio. I live in San Antonio and I'm not quite sure about exactly where this Shell/McDonalds is located. I'm driving over there Friday and will post the exact address on here after I find it.

I'm posting a copy of the email from Dan below.
