Gidday all. Hubby and I managed a day out for some beach detecting Saturday gone. Lots of lower denomination coins, two rings, one junk one silver, and two pre-decimal coins. Came across a seal enjoy a nap in a sandy hollow, without a care in the world. Didn't care for the tourists either! Good day all round, bit cold and windy, but we were nicely rugged up and warm with all our wet weather gear on. Hope you all had a great weekend also!

Thats something you wont see in michigan. Looks like you have been doing very well, keep at it. I was wondering what you think of the sun-ray x1 probe? Thanks, JOE
 
Hello Joe. I don't own a sun-ray probe, or ever used one, but I was wondering the same thing a while ago. I thik a probe would do well in maybe detecting parks, where you want to go for targets that are only around a few inches in depth, and want to acurately dig out the targets with minimal mess, and smaller holes. but that's my thoughts on it. There are a few here on the forum that use one, they'd be better able to answer your questions on how they work, and what they're best suited to. How's the old site going?

Boy, oh boy, I've been away from this forum too long. I thought this was a new post, and here I'm seeing one of my responses to it. Pretty scary to me since I was a pretty regular responder to this stuff, but I miss reading about peoples finds and responding to them. Golden, I like how you show the overall shot and then kind of zoom in on some of the stuff in another shot for more detail. I'd hire you if I had my own ad agency.:| Keep up the great work. Boy, that is one laid back seal. We have a place here in a suburb called La Jolla, where the seals come in from time to time and sunbath, or whatever they're doing. The tourists as well as the locals love to go see them. Your seal looks so serene. Marc.
