Hello all, enjoyed a couple of days detecting last weekend. Weather was great, warm and sunny, and I just love this daylight saving. I've been detecting till 8:00pm each night! I also got out one afternoon detecting last week at an old township site, that's now reverted to farmland, and found this 1945 Victory medal. I haven't done any homework on it yet, so can't tell you much about it. Maybe one of the Aussies here can help with some info! I've posted photos of both sides of the medal.

Great finds I really like the 1945 Victory medal. You are having more daylight we are having less now it's dark by 5:30 oh well I can use a flashlight.

Good luck
Rick

Hi Rick, nice to hear from you again! Yep, summer's almost here. In the next few days we're expecting temps in the high 20's, so that'll be nice. Got a lot of painting to get through at work! Just hope it's not windy!
Cheers Angela

Hi guys, thought I'd post a photo of a medal found by hubby on the same day I found mine! It's different again, and made of solid brass. He found it with the Explorer 2, about 8 inches down.
Cheers Golden:)

Gee, I guess those Explorer's are ok too!!!! Just kidding, I know how good an Explorer is, and that's a great find. Very, very interesting.:|
