Beach finds

:)Hello,
Just spent 3 days detecting at the beach. In total, Garry and I found 154 coins. I found $50.92 (68 coins) and he found $29.67 (86 coins). Total of $80.59 between us. I had a head start on him when he decided to go snorkelling for oysters, and then had a nap in the rangie! We worked it out to a coin found every 5.8 minutes @5 hours a day over 3 days. This tally doesn't included all the other collectables and trash dug up. The weather was good overall with patchy rain showers. (I'm starting to sound like the weather beaureu!)
Cheers and happy hunting, Ang:):minelab:

Very nice! The Quattro is definitely one kick-butt beach machine.

Nice finds. Sounds like a relaxing time. What type of detector does Garry have?

I like beach detecting - easy digging. However, beaches of Lake Erie are not very productive places - in fact I would say they are by far the least productive place we have ever detected.

Hello Mirage,
Garry has the Explorer 2. He bought it a few months ago, and really loves it, though it's got a bit more of a learning curb I believe, than the Quattro. He likes to go into the Explorer forum now that he has one.

Our Summer seems SO far away... Well done, Angela ! Anyhow, I'll be on the beach too, tomorrow.
