I just took out my beachunter for the first time. my question is once you set the threshold why do you keep having to adjust it every 20 to 100 feet? the threshold noise keeps going silent. thank you.
 
Hey patch, I'm no expert I just used mine for the first time at Daytona last week, I asked the local dealer the same question and he said use the reset switch. If your hunting in disc.
mode just flip the a.m./ disc switch toward reset (spring loaded). That will reset your threshold as you hunt.
