Beach hunting.

It's great in the dry sand but you have to turn the sensitivity down when you get near the water. It also doesn't like it when the waves hit it.

I never got my T 2 to the beach, but my F 75, which is very similar, worked pretty good down to the water line. Using "Tinfoils" settings, which I'll have to find, with gb of about 6 I was able to hunt the wet sand and, of course, no problem in the dry sand, I'll try and locate the settings and post them. I've used mine at the beach several times and it works pretty good in the dry sad. I didn't think it would work in the wet sand and the last time I was down I set the manual GB at 10 to 15 and it worked pretty well in the wet sand. When I would move up into the dry sand it would get noisy and when I would move back to the wet sand it would quiet down. If I would get it in the water it would over load. I was surprised it work that well in the wet sand. I was really surprised, although the T2 is really for relic hunting not beach hunting. I just don't think you get any real depth like you would a beach machine. I ended up getting a used Minelab Excalibur 800 for beach hunting. After hearing some of the problems with repairs with Minelab I hope it doesn't break.
