Getting ready to depart for Florida today and was wondering what type of luck anyone has had and where, if it s not a secret. ;) We will be in the Orlando area with Tampa and Daytona on the list as well.
Thanks and God Bless!!

Welcome to the forum. I personally have never been to florida . I hope you do well though.

check the beach and water section of the forum out, may want to ask that question over there, thats were all the florida water hunters are...joe

The beaches are starting to see some traffic so the gold will start showing up.

God bless.

Welcome to the CMD Forum! Glad to have you with us! I think the :detecting: on beaches is different now, but in 1984 my brother, Cliff, and I, went MD'ing on the beach in FT Lauderdale, near Hollywood, FL! We were both new at it, so didn't do the greatest, but did find some newer coins and I found an Irish Medallion with a gold bezel around it to wear on a chain! Didn't find the chain, but might have been there, cause the beach was closing and it was midnight (very dark) when we had to leave and go back to his home, so no time for more searching! We had a great time though and my visit with my brother and sister-in-law was an enjoyment for all of us, except when news of my mother's death interrupted and then we had great sorrow....my brother, nephew and I all had to fly to St. Louis and then to Salem, MO for the funeral arrangements and funeral! Not a good ending for the family and loved ones!! My first and last airplane trip and couldn't enjoy it very much because of crying tears of sadness!

I hope and pray that God Blesses you with lots of :detecting: time and good finds! May your trip be made safely and enjoyed immensely! Amen! Ma Betty

Thanks for the advice and well wishes. When we find anything it will be posted on here first. THanks Again.

On the East Coast you do better when there is beach erosion but there is always new stuff to find. Daytona should be good. Heard on the weather report today that the water was 72 degrees today. Good luck.
