Beacon for IN, Iowa, Kan, MN, MS, SC, SD

Not really sure how I came across this site, but it looks good. I notice that you can zoom in on the properties (at least what I was looking at) and when you have your pointer over it will show the property owners name and value of the house. Just something that could be useful for other.

BUT, I cannot just search an area on Beacon without knowing a Parcel number or owners address? If I could just pull up a local map and click on the area in question ? In my case, I am out of state and have no idea what the property owners name and address are, heck ,that is what I am trying to find out in the first place? Please advise?
