Beautiful day it is going to be today...

Pete in MI

Supposed to be up in the high 40s and into the 50s. Got the detector out yesterday set up some new programming based on Bryce's settings from the book recently out from Andy Sabisch. Cleaned coil and coil covers and taped the seams to keep moisture and dirt out. Got the batteries all charged and new alkalines in the AA battery pack. Made sure I had the headphones, knee pads, dirt cloth, pouch and belt, camera and camera holster with fresh batteries in the camera, digger and holder, fresh batteries in the GPS, taped up the X-1 probe to protect the end and the rest of it from being trashed by dirt, put the Platypus coil on the detector and some other things. Had hoped yesterday that the hotel would call, like they did the day before, and tell me to take the day off. They didn't so went in. Looking forward to getting out today. Guessing we will not make it to church due to the problems with Casey and Josh's marriage and Sherry had reflux most of the night so she is finally getting some sleep. Got to bed very late myself.

So looking forward to this great weather and going detecting....ah here is the rub. I injured the muscles in my upper right arm. Not sure how...think maybe trying to stack tables on a cart at work no sure. Anyway it hurts to move my arm much. I have 2 to 3 days off now for it to heal up if I don't use it much. Still gonna go detecting though. Luckily I swing the detector with my left arm and dig with the right. I use a shovel in the ball field so hoping it doesn't cause much damage to my arm.

Asking for some prayers. Some for Casey and Josh. This is a rough time for them just inside their marriage. Being in her final month of pregnancy she probably feels very ugly and undesirable and needs reassurance. Josh of course probably feel pushed away and not the center of her attention as now the baby is and to it a mix of people spreading rumors and causing even more grief in their marriage and...well they need prayers. Sherry asked Josh on the phone last night if he prayed and he said no and when asked if she could pray for him he hung up on her. So he is running from God as well. They need to commit to each other and both commit to God and leave all the rest out of their marriage.

Sherry's reflux has kept her from sleeping not only in the bed but even in a recliner now she has a hard time with it. I pray for her every time it occurs so she can get peaceful rest.

Me, well, a few prayers my arm heals quickly. I had some work to do at the hotel and left work 4 hours early only because I knew the work involved would cause even more pain and make matters worse. My paycheck so far will be 12 hours less between the unexpected day off and leaving early yesterday. Can't afford to lose too much time.

Thanks everyone. God bless you all and Happy Hunting for those who get out.

So sad to hear, Pete! Praying for each of you and I, too, have acid reflux and know exactly what it causes about to not being able to sleep! I used to take anti-acids from over the counter, which did help, but stomach still bothered me! The DR prescribed meds for my stomach and the heartburn, but out of the one right now, which seemed to help the most! I have to watch what I eat or, oh boy, I get sick and want to throw up!

I pray for Casey and Josh that God will send His laborers to them, whom they will hear and recieve the Word of God and accept into their hearts! There is nothing impossible with God, in Jesus' name, for Him to do, but the ones being prayed for must be willing to hear, understand and know that they are sinners and need a Savior, Who makes new creations out of us, for us to have better lives by enduring and overcoming all things with His loving and guiding scriptures studied, diligently, to have life and have it abudantly! The burden of a baby so soon does not help in a troubled marriage...done in lust and not godliness doesn't help either....but there is hope for them and other sinners, or the prodigals, who've strayed away from Him...for He does keep after them in His love, grace and mercy in their trials to bring them in or back into His Sheepfold! Unless they absolutely won't believe in Him being real and the Lord of Lords!

Each one of us goes through many trials and only with Jesus do we overcome them all, but the best of all it is in our troubles that we pray and seek Jesus' help more and more, or turn away from Him completely, by being in satan's snare and stronghold....But God is greater than he is and the Children of God win in His love and in the end!
Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for answering prayers and for life everlasting in Your golden Kingdom, someday!

Let us keep our faith in Jesus that all will turn out for our and our loved ones' good and for His purpose! He never fails nor will we by fully leaning on Jesus, while trusting and obeying Him!

I may be ill, but satan doesn't keep me from posting about the goodness of my LOrd and Savior by my serving and obeying Him, regardless how anything looks, I feel or that's being done in this old, sinful world, as there is a better world awaiting when we are dwelling with our blessed Savior, Jesus, forever and ever!

God Bless! Betty

Praying for all of you!

Praying for you all Pete. God will see you through all of this. Satan is hard at work, as the end times are coming fast. We don't know exactly when, but we know they are approaching fast. We just got to keep the faith and be ready, and make sure we witness for Christ.
