I couldn't do either as I'm down in my lower back and hips....ohhh, the pain when I try to bend over or do something.! And yet, I give God Praise and Jesus Thanks, for my neighbor, Glenn, mowed his and my lawn (front and back) today! Soooo need to pay him now! :) But God blesses and after the closing date on the sale of the Cuba house, I will have a little more money to help take care of my bills that just seem to keep coming and coming! BO keeps hurting the Senior Citizens more and more! May he and his cohorts be removed from office and soon! Amen! :angel: Ma Betty!
 
Hope you feel better tomorrow, Ma. As for BO, I'm pretty sure he signed and sealed his fate as far as being reelected goes. He will probably be a one term president, unless something changes. I also figure that most of the dems will be booted out come election time, too. I don't claim to be a Republican OR a Democrat. My personal opinion is that Bush is an idiot and did not have what it takes to be a president. I feel that he got this country into a lot of problems due to his ignorance, stupidity, and arrogance. However, I believe that Obama is sent straight from Satan. It has been a long time since we have had a good president! We haven't even had anyone decent to choose from in the elections. I could not, and did not, vote for Obama, but I sure didn't want McCain either. Ended up voting for McCain... the lesser of two evils.

Lisa, I liked Bush far better than Clinton or BO, at least he is a born again Christian and just doesn't say he is and then act like a Socialist or a sinner! Remember, he had a Democratic Congress that went against him, and there was discord in everything that he and the Republicans tried to get passed while in office! No Republican president has had a Republican Congress like the Liberal, Democratic Socialist that BO and his cohorts have as a Democratic majority! There are many who are elected and want to do better, I think, but end up staying in and becoming part of the elite and don't listen to their constituents, but some do but it is tough on them fighting the establishment! I am an Independent myself, but I vote for American Conservatives and Patriotism....No way do I want our nation turned over to a Muslim religion and a Communism, Marxist, or Socialism pres, Congress and dictatorship rulers!

Yes, Dk, that is Cuba, MO and not Castro's Cuba....heaven forbid if I ever wanted to be there or buy a house there! :angry:

I never feel really great when I get out of bed but sometimes in the evenings I feel better and can do a few things! But, since I get up late in the mornings, nights come fast; therefore, I don't seem to accomplish much! :shrug: :) The reason my back and hips hurt, yesterday afternoon, I came to realize I had carried a basket-load of folded clothes lifting them upon the stairs, step by step, and then all of a sudden I could hardly move or bend over! That is what older age does to a person! :rolleyes: :sad: Oh, to be able to do what I used to do!!! :)

Beautiful sunny and temp 80 degrees today but still unable to go do anything like detecting or yardwork. I have to push myself to do housework and etc., so most of the time I'm on the Computer trying to serve Jesus and help others with kind words and encouragement, I hope! I've had to work hard most of my life, sooooo......just taking one day at a time and doing what I'm able and letting the rest go...it'll still be here if and when someone can work and clean like it should be done! ;) May God Bless! :angel: Ma Betty
