Jerry and I went to Cherokee Village to see his folks. Haven't seen them for a couple of years. They were celebrating their 62nd wedding anniversary. We got a day of detecting in. The lake was down so we went to the beach. About 3 bux clad, a junk ring and earring, and the best find was a Zippo lighter which will probably be OK after it dries out. We spotted a nice lot in a town coming home. A lot of old trees and in the old part of the town. The city crew was raking the leaves up and burning them so the detecting should be easier. Maybe we will get some oldies.
