Beep Detectors

Ok I'm a threshold guy, love having some back ground hum so I know when something nulls out and the detector goes quite. I'm curious though about the Minelab Go Find and the Garrett Ace 400. Where can I find the forum users comments, pro and cons on these detectors? Anyone out there have hands on experience? Most of my recent experience has been with the Minelab X-terra 705, Whites MXT, MX5, MX Sport, Treasure Pro and the Garrett Infinium LS. Only reason I would consider a beep & dig would be to take in luggage while traveling.

A....beep and dig units, Tesoros anyway, aren't really beep and dig...there is a whole lot more to it than that and several also have thresholds like on my Vaq in all metal.
It doesn't null over targets it wavers so the opposite but pretty much the same result.
Go over targets and the threshold will let you know.

2....I am sure you can get lots of info on the two you mentioned if you ask for comparisons in the Metal Detecting Forum...the only place you can do comparisons around here.

The display machines that offer threshold based all metal modes are a computer generated simulation of of a threshold based all metal mode. The only machines I know of that offer a true threshold based all metal mode are the analog machines like Tesoro.
