Before & after low disc

A jr high school site that I hit yesterday had 3 smaller bleachers on the play fields. So I thought "why not crawl in & under them and try it". There was a lot of junk so I put my machine on higher disc and dug about 10 pennies, 1 quarter and a couple dimes. I dont have a readout of any kind, just sounds on my Fisher 1266.

Then , as I had time to kill, I decided to try it over again on lower disc - the setting I normally use in sand & chip bark areas. I then dug more pennies, a crucifix, a student award pin, few dimes and 11 NICKELS !

I think others had cherry picked the area but left things as I ended up with 39 coins total. Steve in so az

People want the easy stuff. Then again most never take time to learn their machines. I find when I hunt each time I learn something new. I forget sometimes the next time I am out and have to learn it again but it is a lot easier. If you take your time and learn the machine it will always pay off with a lot more finds. Plus you get the gold and silver that is masked by other scrap pieces. Thanks for once again showing this to the younger group of people. Congrats on your finds.

being under bleachers did you have a problem with the metal frame of the bleachers? I know in playground getting close to poles requires either switching to a smaller coil or turning down the sensitivity - or both sometimes - to get closer to the poles.

Just curious.

That is why you get the gold! :)
