Everyone probably has their own method but here is mine for cleaning clad coins. Got a cheap rock tumbler from eBay load it with the small white fish tank gravel from Walmart . Add couple drops dish soap couple drops of CLR (calcium , lime, rust)and water let it run for a couple of hours. Before left after right . Sometimes it takes a second run after changing the dirty water. Good luck out there!
