Any ideas folks?

Thanks for any help,

Could be your near some large piece of metal in the ground
or as I learned with my 1500 if the sens is too hi it will ding
on a twig ...or if its bumped..
Im sure the more experienced foks will have other

If you use a coil cover, take it off and make sure there's no metalic debris in it.

Check the cable connection at the box and be sure that where the cable comes off the coil it has some leeway and is not pulled tight.

Have you tried holding down the power button until it reboots back to factory settings?

Is this something it does every time you use it or just occasionally?

Hope some of this helps. Good luck.

Hay Yall,
Well the reboots have it. It worked for me, it did continue to ding when I set it down a few times so I turned the sensitivity down a few notches,
seemed to do the trick. {Thanks for the tip Old Ranger} Not ding happy no more!
Thanky kindly everyone!
Joe

PS, What does anyone recommed running the sensitivity on for coin shooting? Factory preset is 9 I believe. Thanks for any advice folks!
