Best coil for the wet sand

I don't think that it will make much difference as to which coil you use in wet sand. The bottom line is, that with most VLF detectors, you will lose half your depth.IMHO A Sovereign would be a better detector to use in this situation.

P.S. The only coil that I would recommend against using, is the 5x10 Elliptical DD coil. This is because it's not waterproof.
 
Mick...I have had quite a bit of success with the 10.5"DD7.5KHz in both wet and dry sand. I also find the X-70 works great on the beach. TomB
