Best Find Since Detecting!

I've been away from posting on-line for a while for a multitude of reasons, but figured I'd come back with my best for this year. This is my third year detecting and I had two "firsts" this month. Last weekend I found a platinum and diamond anniversary/wedding band marked "950" platinum. I just got it back from the appraisal from my local jeweler. It has 9 full round diamonds with a total weight of .38 carats. The ring weighs 6.3 grams...appraisal value ... $1900.00! Yahoooooo! :hot:

Also found two gold rings earlier this month. A small 10K heart ring. And big honkin' 11.4 gram gold ring stamped 24k. I had the jeweler verify that it was indeed 23k or 24k gold. Gold value about $430! What a month!

All were dug with the Ace250 and excellerator coil. All were 3-5 inches down.

All from dry grounds in local parks.

If I remember right this particular platinum ring came in pretty much about one notch above pulltab. There was a subtle difference from the normal sound that made me dig. I also think it was a little more stable than normal items that ring in this range (not much notch variance on the swings) .

Congratulations! This would be everyone's dream. I know it's mine! Love that Ace!:inlove:

Yikes! What great finds. I'd take any gold find right about now. The yellow metal is eluding me big time. Platinum? I'd still be screaming!!! Way to go Graff!
