I did a little experiment last night with two pairs of headphones I have here. A pair of ratphones and a pair of sunray pro gold headphones. I sat in front of the tv , and alternated the pair of headphones , checking out the outside sound dampening qualities of both. There was no comparison actually , the rat phones were the best by far in that area. I also wanted to sit with each pair for at least 30 minutes just to see if any pressure points developed that would cause discomfort in the field. Again the larger cups on the ratphones and thicker earmuffs were more comfortable. So the ratphones are on the xterra 70 now as its my primary use detector and the sunrays are on my xlt spectrum.
