I'm making a waterproof Ace 250 for fresh water hunting. The waterproof box should be the same size as the stock control head. I have plenty of coil cable to mount the head 1. original position. 2. under pole mount in front of the grip. 3. hip mount. 4. behind the back. 5. chest mount. 6. the very back under the detector rest.
I have only been knee deep and I don't want to be remounting the control everywhere to find the best place for it. I know it would be what's comfortable for me. But I wanted to hear from the experienced hunters. Thanks.
