It's been awhile since I did some detecting and wanted to get some feedback from the group here.

I want to get another VDI machine with automatic ground balancing for around $400 or less.
Share your recommendations ... please!
Looking for a stable machine.

Thanks!
Larry

Land Ranger Pro.
Auto AND full manual ground balance. Comes with a DD coil.
Nice, large VDI. Iron volume, advanced notching features, and tone break, once you feel comfortable with it.

Surprisingly, it is less than $300, so you will have $$$ left over to get a quality pinpointer, or other accessories. At this price point, it is pretty tough to touch, with the features it offers.

Larry, find a good used Minelab Explorer II or Explorer SE Pro. Then by an after market coil - like a SEF or similar. There are books and forums to help.

Good luck out there

I used an at pro for awhile and it was a jam up machine got rid to upgrade to machine better suited for trash the pro wasnt a slouch. a used one could be had for around 400. makes a real sweet sound on silver coins loved the tones of that machine.
