After searching an old lot and finding..nothing, I decided to head to the ring lot. Not many finds left but once in a while you can squeak one out.
Wasn't a very good signal but decided to dig it anyway. Glad I did.
1936S merc.

That's alot better then I did after being in 2 fields today. All I got was a rosie. I would of been a lot happier if I would of found a Merc, lol

I was surprised that the signal wasn't so good but i'm pretty sure it was the amount of junk in there. You really have to listen for those good signals.

Went back again today. Trying to be the dime whisperer. If you listen they will come....
1895 barber with a small vest chain(?).
Don't know if its silver.

Holy sh,, a 95 barber dime. Bill, does it have a mint mark. I see it's wore down pretty bad but look real close for a O mint mark.

Congratulations Bill! Looks like your listener is working pretty well!

That would be a find, wouldn't it? They only minted 440,000 of 'em.

1,120,000 of those, but still a great find from a hard hunted site.

I was hoping that you got the O mint mark or no mint mark.
I found a 95s in really good shape a few years ago.

Gotta take em when you can get em!

These just arent coming in with very good signals with the Digger coil. Buuuttttt....it is enough to make me stop and check them out. I'll keep going back until I think there is nothing left to find.

I do not care what coil you use your not always going to get good signals at every site you go to and that's why I dig a lot of iffy signals.

I know Mark. I have hit the good signals already. Now I'm looking for jumpy 46s and 48s. Solid signals of both are almost always BBC's or nails. But these last 2 were scratchy and bouncy and obviously good. I don't mind digging a few junk items to pull out silver or better. There is still the possibility of a small gold here hidden between the nails. Pre-1900's coins always make feel like there's a chance.
