New member
are there rain covers available for BH Pioneer 505,i have searched but cant find any,
thanks

I haven't tried it but maybe using one of those elastic band food bowl showercap-like plastic covers might work. They are in the grocery stores in the plastic wrap/aluminum foil isle.

Since it seldom rains here near Seattle, I haven't had the incling to try using them.

The clear plastic shower caps that they give you at a lot of hotels & motels work best. They're big enough to cover the entire control box.

Those clear shower caps work good for rain protection , I also use them for coil cover`s if I feel it is needed ,,,,

BH/FT should produce a water-resistant model, maybe with added salt ground rejection for salt water beaches. It needn't be submersible, just built to handle some rain or ocean spray.
