BH customer service

After not hearing from BH after sending them my Pioneer 505, I called to inquire about the status of the repair. I was told that they could not find a problem with the unit. The owner's manual says that the battery indicator is supposed to flash upon start up but mine didn't. I provided my CC info. last Thursday to pay for the return shipping and expected to receive the unit Yesterday, however it did not arrive. Once and if it does, I'm going to check the battery level indicator again to see if the defect was fixed. I'm beginning to think that BH customer service is not all it is cracked-up to be.

UPS just delivered the unit and the battery indicator is now working. Perhaps me reemphasizing the problem on the phone got BH to take another look and they found the problem. They installed a new face plate but left numerous bubbles of air trapped under it. I was able to squish out the bubbles. They also provided a new coil, so overall, I would give BH a grade of a B.
