BH Platinum Series - ? about volume control

No big thing but just wondering if someone with a Platinum could check and see if their unit operates like mine. When lowering the volume if I set below 4 there will be volume on low conductors like a nickel and no volume on high tones like a penny-dime-quarter. Just want to see if all Platinums are alike.

I have the delta and love the volume control. You can set it low and inly hear the low tones
