Hotzone

[attachment 235005 photo4.JPG][attachmeAnt 235006 photo5.JPG][attachment 235007 photo6.JPG]Found my first Indian today. Got the 18 inch coil out for the quattro and lay down poker chips to mark spots. In all metal high trash with -9 thru -1 and 40 blanked out and a sens of 17. I have always had trouble pinpointing with this big coil so used the Deleon to pinpoint. The Tesoro made a small chirp that I would normally ignore right on the poker chip this time. At 6 inches down on edge was a 1906s Indian. My oldest coin so far and in a park established in the 80s. The grounds keeper told me of an old house near where I found the coin.

Congrats on a great find! That disc pattern is working out pretty good for you then.

Thanks, I found if I left -10 open , I let just enough low sounds come through to allow me to adjust the sens manually and have low audio to warn me of possible nail. The big coil covers ground in a hurry, I gave up on a few holes when 12 inches deep when getting nothing with the pro pointer. I find a lot of old shotgun shells deepest 11 inches.

nice!
