Phil's reaction to his find was worth the price of admission. PICTURE THIS....I'm a good 100 to 150 feet away in my "zone" and totally concentrating on my hunting...when I hear this unearthly bellowing in the distance. It sounded like something off of Wild Kingdome.:crylol: I slightly turn ...and out of the corner of my eye I see this hopping blur in the distance. It's jumping up and down...barking out some kind of gibberish...and flapping it's arms wildly:laugh:
I've just sighted BIGFOOT?....or some kind of prehistoric creature?....NO it's just Phil...in dire need of a clean pair of shorts:crylol::bouncy:
Now on a more serious note...NICE find brother:thumbup: We'll do it again real soon:smoke:

You got 2 Coins that I probably will never find unless I leave the State and head east. I could see maybe finding a Large Cent sometime but a 3-Cent Piece would be the tougher one since they are really small. Good to see you fella's had a great time out detecting after the rain passed and hope your Luck continues. Good Luck and HH on your next adventures in Treasure Hunting.

Those are some great finds, Phil. Looks like the large cent cleaned up ok. I can't believe it was still there being only 3" deep. I guess maybe some people
try that area & encounter the nasty clay & all the rocks & pieces of brick & decide to head somewhere else. If it hadn't been for the Barber Quarter being found nearby in that area last month, I doubt if I would have spent much time there, either. That's also the first time I have ever seen a 3 cent silver coin.
I knew they were small, but that it TINY! I wonder if it even sounded like silver. I'll bet it sounded more like a penny or even a zinc penny.

Take care & HH.
Dan.

THATS RIGHT IM A DIGING THOSE CRITTERS. :yikes: THERE HAD TO BE SOME IRON IN THERE SOMEWHERE BUT WITH THE GROUND SO HARD I SAID THE HELL WITH LOOKING  HH PHIL :minelab:
