"Big Green Trommel"

Has anyone had experience or know of someone who has - with "The Big Green Trommel". It is manufactured in Fresno and sold by www.goldrushtradingpost.com - among others. Looks like a great machine for a club, where 3-4 people could operate it Of course need access to source - cause you can't carry it in - ha. Oh and about $1600 also. However for a club with lots of members - could be feasible.

There was a Green Machine company up in the hills by Lebec in the grapevine many years ago who made them. Does it have a recovery system or simply a classifier?John

It has a sluice box that swings out from under the trommel to either side. Pretty cool design. Good photos and all info. at goldrushtradingpost.com.

Thanks John, sure would be cool if someone around here had one - that is Reno. Three prospecting clubs here - maybe one of them could swing the enthusiasm and the $$$ to obtain one.
