Big ring day

Hit some parks this morn - the heat & humidity got to me about 4 hours later but I had 100 coins by then. Got 3 rings, an allen wrench tool & misc junk jewelry.

The left ring is a size 11 and is stamped "S steel" inside, I presume stainless steel. Never have got one of these before, anyone have info on them ? The middle ring is really pretty but not precious metals. The right one is stamped 925. Steve in so az

The Stainless steel rings are everywhere now. We are finding them often in the water. Since SS, Tungsten, and Titanium came on the market. There is way less gold to be found. They are all much cheaper to buy, they look nice, but not much of a resale market on them. Nice finds none the less. I like all of the ones I find. :)

sure do keep a shine. This one is just like it came out of the hole. Never did clean it or anything, Steve

Stainless Steel FRIENDSHIP Ring. It's a new thing with the kids ok. The middle one is Rose Quartz and the last one is Sterling ok. Nice Finds. PEACE:RONB

check it with the acid test? The one I have you put a drop on the ring. It just sits there like it was gold. I was wondering how your acid and stone tests does on stainless. Many SS rings have no marks in them.

Nice haul for the hot day of digging, Steve! And those rings are very pretty, especially the one in the middle! Was nice day here and much cooler! May our Lord keep on blessing you and Nancy! Amen! Ma Betty

can ya check it on your acid and stone tester? Just wondering what it will say.

the acid wouldn't work as normal because of the steel. The item has to be a softer metal to work. Also, the steel scratches wont come off the test stone - never happened before. Steve

I owe you a new test stone???
Sorry about that.
