Bigfoot versus 18 inch Excelerator coils

Anyone know of any tests comparing performance of Bigfoot versus 18 inch Excelerator coils? Thanks.

[size=medium]to "compare" a 3x6 DD Shooter coil to a 950. They are designed for different tasks.

From my experiences, and I am NOT a fan of overly large coils or the Bigfoot coil (because they don't 'fit' my types of hunting), the BigFoot coil would be better suited when hunting for shallower coins and coin-sized targets. The 18" Excelerator coil really isn't a good pick for small-sized targets. It will do better when hunting for larger objects and get a little better depth over a standard coil on larger targets.

It might help to know which model detector you're considering using it on, and for what type(s) of application.
