Bigger coil with coil-cover

the Swede

Member
I am looking for an underwater detector that I will be able to change from the standard coil (e.g. 8-10 inches) to a larger coil, preferably one of size 14-16 inches.

I would also like to get a coil-cover for this larger coil.

Any suggestions on what type of underwater detector and coil that will allow this change/equpiment?

When you say UNDERWATER.... are you talking beyond 10' deep or less and fresh or salt water? Salt water....CTX 3030 in water less than 10', pricy, but multi freq works both in fresh, salt water, and on land. Fisher Inf PI you can change coils as well.... but it is a PI. Fresh water you also have the AT Pro for water less than 10'. Most machine you dive with are all hard wired coils and headphones.

Keep in mind that the larger the coil the more resistance you will have to moving it thru the water.

Aquapulse detectors: built for diving, pulse machine, various coils available including a 8" and a 15" all plugable with Ikelite plugs.
