Biloxi MS hunt

Anyone using their SE in the Biloxi area? Im here for a couple of weeks and started hunting today. Seems like they have run the machines over the beach or put in new sand. I found some clad and a few pieces of jewerly nothing of real value. I did find tons of melted copper and large copper bolts and copper nails. Id love to hunt the some those old homes lots that are now gone... but i dont do well in jail. Anyone hunted the area lately?

I don't live around Biloxi but I'm down there fairly regularly. I know they've put new sand out in some places but you can still find some areas that are pretty scoured. I've been tempted by the same empty lots you have but I've stayed away because it was pretty sensitive around there for quite a while but I think it would be ok now if you could get permission.

Print out some flyers and post them in the area for the people that lost their beach houses. Tell them that you are searching for old coins, and will offer to help recover items that may have been lost due to the storm. It is a win, win situation and by posting the flyers, they will be contacting you. Good luck.
Mike
