Bin setting

I bought Gary Draytons book and put in his pattern and bin setting
One thing he did not cover in vidios I watched was where he sets iron bin
Bin setting are100 500 750 999
100 is close to what iron bin is stock
Just set up so not on beach with it yet
From what I see he wants low tone very distinct from othe tones so u know when u hit gold
We hunt same beaches in Fla

I dont read his books so I dont know where his iron bin woul dbe or the tone used. Was he using the combined mode? I can tell you that gold will read anywhere from CO-01 up to as high as CO-44 depending on the karat, size, and shape. If you want beach gold you will have to dig everything that isnt iron.

I would recommend only blocking the bottom right corner of the screen and leaving everything else open. Set your tones in combined mode and set the FE line down about 28. Dig everything above that.

Yes these are his tone setting
I do hunt combine
Just don't want tone for iron to be to close to gold tone
I pretty much trust tones more than numbers
