Birthday's comin, which small coil do I want?

I have the 8" minelab coil and the 10.5, what would be a good suggestion for a smaller (park/trash/iron infested) coil? Also going in the other direction, the SunRay 12 or the WOT 15? Live in Northern California so I have allot of different mineralization to deal with (beach, gold country, overhead interference). Any suggestions would surely be appreciated. Thanks, RD

If they ever make a new 6" for the Sov. I will buy that one to for my GT. I have a old Sunray S-5 intruder thick white coil. It will hit my 9" dime I got on edge so that is good enough for me. My 6" Excellerator really smacks that dime on my SE. I got a 12.5" Excellerator comming for my SE. The 10X14 is great but it is a little heavy and I want to try the 12.5" and see how that does. I know it is supposed to be lighter. I really like my 12.5" Excellerator I have for my GT. It is one deep coil. My Buddy Chuck down in Cape Coral Fl. has my 12.5" Excellerator coil for my GT as he wanted to see how well it worked. Now he is sending mine back and he is going to buy one for his GT. :D: :D: Later Jerry Aka Tinfoil

HOW CAN YOU TELL IF IT IS A THIRD GENERATION COIL???? Chris was reading my mind.....the one he sold me says on it "Excelerator EQ2 Pro Double "D" Searchcoil. Serial # is 15164......2nd? 3rd? what? :stars:

so...What you are saying is if it is a 6" or a 10x14....it IS a 3rd generation coil. OK.......I see I never specified what size my coil was.....yes 6".....so I take it if it is a 6" or 10x14......then it has to be a 3rd gen.....cause these are the first to be made in these sizes....OK.....wooooo, I hope this is all cleared up now.......:stars:
