Just got back from a quick beach sweep. Thats a brand new Dale Earnhardt Zippo and a nice Winchester SS folding lockback...running in AT or very low disc, on the beach lets you find this kind of stuff. I'll get 20 bucks for that lighter, and at least 10 for that knife at the Wifes garage sale this summer...all those little toys add up too, each can get you a quarter from the little kids that accompany their moms at a garage sale, I got a little clad, and another buck in empty beer cans (10c each here in MI)
When I found that hat in the picture, I knew there had to be some keys or a knife around and there was! I love reading the "signs" on the beach, you can tell a lot about the people that were there by the brands of junk they leave behind. Look for the high end junk, even something as small as an empty foil Tylenol Sinus packet tells you a lot...It was probably a womans, she has allergies, she also probably carrys hand wipes or Purell to avoid germs, and sunscreen for the kids...all of which greases up her hands to the point she might lose her ring!
