Theres this old hall where people rent to have wedding receptions and parties and whatnot. There was a big fight and shooting out in the parking lot a few months back, so I'd been thinking about giving it a quick sweep to see if anybody flung off some gold in a panic, this am I was there right before sunup, and gone just a little bit after. One Quarter is painted red for some reason, and I found another '41 wheat down in the dirt. I've been sort of keeping track this year of the finds, I missed writing down a few, and didn't post others, but backtracking posts this weekend, I have 2025 clad coins for 155.67, in 27 documented hunts. 739 coins in April alone. I got this notion from Zeek, and wished I had started this from day one when I got the detector...it would have made a cool journal for some kid to read, like Lewis and Clarks journal, only with less indians. There sure is a lot of money laying around, but I dont know how long a guy can keep up big number days in such a small area. Makes me wonder what some of the old timers who have been swinging coil for many years, what their coin total finds could be..100 grand? more? Thats a lot of excersize for the fun of it, by golly!
