Can anyone tell me if this book applies to the safari also ... its By Andy Sabisch Mastering The Quattro

It does but the newer book (green cover) has more details on setting and programming the detector. Since the functions are almost identical on the two models, the material will help you with the Safari as well.

Yes, that book applies to the Safari, too (many of us longtime Safari users bought that book first). It was then updated by Andy Sabisch's Mastering the Safari and Quattro that has only been printed within the the past roughly 2.5 yrs or so.
