Went to a park I've been wanting to hunt this AM. Started with my 10x12 but was so trashie I switched to my 6x8. Picked up a couple wheats then got a signal that was chirpy one way I moved 90 degrees & still chirpy but every 2 or 3 swings I could hear a little bit of a warble so I dug and got the 1918 dime.The wheaties & other 3 dimes were good signals. Going to go back tomarrow & see if I can get some more Its an old park dates back to 1860

It's amazing what is still hiding deep in some of these old parks. They've been picked over for 50 years but there is still stuff hiding.
I tried a "new" old park last weekend - one that I had tried about 30 years ago. Now with the more sophisticated machines we can seek deeper
or read "iffy" signals better. I made out with about 25 wheats, about a dozen IHs, a liberty nickel, a buffalo, and a Barber dime. I couldn't believe the amount
of stuff - and I only swept about 5% of the park. Can't wait to get back !

Thanks to all who responded to my post. Went back to that park today, but only could last a couple hrs. Back was giving me trouble. Did get 1 rosie & 4 wheats. Will post more later. HH
