I recently purchased a Bounty Hunter Challenger metal detector at a yard sale. It seems to work pretty well (I've only had time to play around with it in the yard so far), but I didn't get a manual with it. I've checked most of the websites and can't seem to find this model listed. Does someone know where I can download one or possibly can someone scan a copy and e-mail it to me ? You can call Bounty Hunter and ask them for a manual. The phone number is on the website. www.detecting.com. That Challenger unit is the same as the Pioneer 505. Good Luck.

I called them this morning and they are sending me a manual. For some reason I didn't even think of that. Guess I'm so used to looking things up on line that I forgot the "old fashioned" way -- Use the phone. Anyway I really appreciate it. Love this Forum ! HH, Pappy
