Bounty Hunter headphones

Question, will the Bounty Hunter headphones work ok on an F75?? They look exactly the same as the Fisher ones.... Thanks in advance..
Regards Sonny

OK, Fisher say no they are not the same internally...Too bad, I can get the bounty hunter model everywhere here, but No Fisher.... guess I'll have to order them

Hey Sonnyd,

To answer your question, yes, providing the Bounty Hunter headphones use a 1/4" plug, and also have a stereo plug, mono won't work on the F75.

Bounty Hunter, Fisher, & Teknetics, are all children of the same parent company, First Texas. Keep in mind some models within those brands have BOTH 1/4" and 1/8" headphone jacks, so either can be used on SOME models.

Sonny, just plug the headphones in and see what happens, it shouldn't hurt anything. If they work good then just go with it. If the sound is loud and clear that's all you need.

Thanks guys... Yeah, I called first Texas. The guy said, they would work, but internally they were wired differently, and that the Fisher phones were actually rated higher frequency, and better quality...He sounded like he knew what he was talking about, LOL.. Everybody around here stocks the Bounty hunter model, and most of the time they are on sale for 29.00. They also all sell the Fisher phones too, but no one stocks them, they are shipped directly from Fisher for some reason....I'm using my Garrett Clear tones with the F75 right now. They are like 21.95. They came with my ACE 400, and I'm going to sell it, so I need the headphones back with it, so I can sell it. I have absolutely no issues with the cheap Garretts, so I'm pretty sure the Bounty Hunters would be just fine. Maybe I'll just wait and save up more money and buy some Grey Ghosts or something higher end...
