Bounty Hunter Junior batteries.

Dirty Nails

New member
My Grandson has a Bounty Hunter Junior and the specs calls for 2 alkaline batteries. I need to know if rechargeable batteries, either nim-h, or li-ion, will work in it. If so, which ones should I get him?
Thanks,
Rickey

I have not yet tried any rechargeables but I am wondering if li-ion will be ok or are they possibly damaging to a machine.

Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries will work fine and they won't damage your metal detector. I use 9 volt Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries in my Bounty Hunter Legacy 3500 and 1.5 volt AA Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries in my Teknetics T2 Classic metal detectors with no problems encountered.
