I got this fairly old model from a friend.....he was about to toss it cause the four wires going from the cord to the circuit board inside the box were cut. I was hoping that someone could maybe help me out on where or to which spot on the circuit board each wire would go. Or maybe some kind of diagram. Cause overall it's in fairly good condition.

Here are a few pics of what im trying to figure out. Plz if anyone could help I'd appreciate it. I don't want to throw it away.

However I understand your interest as I've been hunting (and dealing) starting in the early to mid 70's.
Contact this guy below as he has the knowlege, experience and does repairs.

he is on FB too.
(Back in the 80's Charles Garrett loaded up all his BFO stock in tractor-trailers and hauled them to the Dallas landfill, as he simply could NOT sell them.)
Decide what it is worth to you: should you ship to him it will cost something, and its not something you will ever use. The sensitivity was more a rumor than a reality.
You might enjoy this sales brochure.

The Bounty Hunter TR-550 was the first discrimination detector I had. I found a lot of silver with it. Got it back out last year when my T-2 quit working right.

the sensitivity was low, and the discrimination faded, and moved.
But in the right situation things could be found. Even for its time it did not offer much, but was preferable to BFO's.
I would not have considered it a competitor to any VLF's by Whites, Garrett, Fisher, Compass, G&G, A.H. Pro, or the better Bty Hunters like the Barons.
At roughly the same time it was out the other offered retune or mode change on handle.
(Are you going to give up your T-2 for it?)

I'm going to keep the T-2 but I need to get it fixed. It's stuck in the pre-set mode and the adjustment button doesn't work.
