A quick update.

Brian had a rough night last night waking up at 3 with blood in his trach and then at 5 in a lot of pain.
The good news is they did a transfusion yesterday and to our surprise it was blood donated by my dad for his October 29th surgery. His blood level was up to 25 at 3am and this morning it rose to 26. That is still low but it seems to be stable.
He is still in a lot of pain and the nurse just came in and increased his pain meds per doctors orders.
The plan is for the ENT to scope him again tomorrow to locate and seal the bleeders again. They are going to try and contact an ENT in Knoxville who can do this locally. So far, no one will attempt it.
The bad news, there isn't a sure fire cure to stop the bleeding. Hopefully, we'll get some good news after tomorrows procedure.
Mom and dad have been since we arrived and my brothers Greg and Scott just arrived. Just in time for the Titans game.
Thanks,
Doug
