Man...where do I start?
Let's see. Brian is a diehard fan of the hit show Lost. Carol's best friend Amy got him hooked on it and he didn't miss an episode unless one was on during a hospital stay.
Brian's buddy Garrett is another big fan of the show and had recieved, I believe, seasons 1-4 for Christmas so Brian and Garrett spent a whole weekend watching the show. I don't think either one of them slept all weekend! Anyway, Brian was able to catch up to what was transpiring in the current shows.
Amy, knowing how much Brian loves the show e-mailed the production company to see if they might be interested in sending Brian a souviner from the show. Thank you Amy!! A week later she recieved a reply from Erik Kritzer, Jorge Garcia's (Hurley) manager. He asked for our address and Brian's shirt size and wanted to know how Brian was doing.
Today the package arrived and we were all amazed at what was inside.
They sent Brian a film crew t-shirt that is actually worn by the crew while filming the show. (see pic). HOW COOL IS THAT??
But, that's not all. Jorge included a signed 8x10 photograph and he wrote a real nice note on a postcard from Hawaii. HOW COOL IS THAT?
But, that's not all. Inside was a signed DVD (no...it wasn't season 6) but was actually a home movie, two seperate clips that Jorge personally made for Brian showing what his day is like during the shooting. In the movie Jorge's hairdresser and make-up artist both say hello to Brian. Later in the clip, Mathew Fox (Jack)and Nestor Carbonell (Richard) both took time to speak to Brian.
HOW AWESOME IS THAT?
Jorge, how can we thank you? Our whole family was mesmerized by the video not to mention the fact that you took the time to do this for Brian. Brian will be smiling all night!! The last couple of nights Brian has had nightmares. I bet tonight his dreams will be happier.
Thank you,
Doug, Carol, Brian...and Amy
You guys really made her day too!
