Brian's Battle (20 hours ago..falling behind on updating you all - sorry)

Feeling a little better today.

Brian couldn't hold anything down from Wednesday evening until Thursday evening and we feared he would dehydrate if something wasn't done.

All day Thursday Carol tried to get water and formula into him and each time it came right back up.

Carol called home/health and our nurse was able to reach our pediatrician and he called in a couple of prescriptions to control nausea. Our nurse came out at 9pm and gave Brian an injection and some other meds to be taken through the g-tube and they did the trick.

Brian was able to be machine fed over night and took food, water and his meds through the g-tube today.

Though he still remains pretty lethargic we are relieved that he is holding down the liquids and medicines.

I don't know what I'd do without Carol, she is my rock!!

God has blessed us mightily the last 2 days.

Your prayers and support have warmed our hearts and we really don't know how we can show our true appreciation!!

Good to hear Brian is getting food and water and keeping it down now! My prayers are always with you all! May our Lord and Savior, Jesus, enflold each of you in His loving and comforting arms!
