Brian's Battle - CT Scan - 12/28/09

CT scan today.

We had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed the time we had to spend with family and friends.

This afternoon we are having a CT scan done of Brian's neck and face to check the growth of his tumors. He says it feels like the tumors are getting larger in his throat making it difficult for him to bend his head back far enough to comfortably change the trach.

We think it is mostly stiff neck muscles from laying in bed most of the day but he is due to have a scan anyway to check the encroachment of the tumors on his eye sockets.

The tumors on the bridge of his nose continue to increase in size but...last night he wrote me a note saying he thought the tumors on the left side of his face were shrinking...then he smiled and pointed heavenward. It does appear that they are smaller but I'm afraid it's due to faster growth of the tumors on the right side. We'll know more after we get the results of the CT.

Read up on WHEAT GRASS, read were in Europe they had hairless rats that they gave tumors to and then gave them wheat grass juice and the tumors disappeared. Sometimes modern medicine dosnt look back. Also Barley Grass. Just something i read thats all.

Thank you, Pete, for the update! Still praying for Brian, Sarah and the whole family for strength to go through and the power to overcome all things! May they keep the faith for Jesus lives and He is still on His throne watching over those in His loving care! May the CT show some hope by the shrinking of the tumors and victory in Jesus, Who is our Great Physician, Whom I know Brian believes in and he is quite a trooper in keeping his faith strong in Him!
