A note from Brian

"Dad, I feel so bad. I barely slept and I'm in so much pain. Dad, I just want to sleep or die. Why is God putting me through all this? What's the point? What's my job? What's my mission? Please just..."(he is very discouraged!)

Brian is really down in the dumps today. His buddy Garrett is coming over after school today and that should lift his spirits.

Dear Brian! Please know that you are and have been an encouragement on this forum and to many others! We know you are ill and in pain and I pray that God will have mercy on you and let you sleep a good sleep and get rested with Jesus' healing virtue easing your pain! Yes, we get discouraged for we hurt so much and can't understand why God is keeping us here when we hurt so much, but remember, Brian, God's timing is the right time and ours is not no matter how soon we would like to go Home or be at rest without pain and sorrow! Yours and my days are numbered and only God knows when it is our time to be with Him in glory, so hang on and don't give up! Just cry out to God in Jesus' name when the burdens of life get heavy and the pain seems to be too much and not seem to end! He hears our simplest of prayers, so just speak: Jesus Help me! and He will! He says to cast all our burdens upon Him but I know when the body aches and your spirit is down that it isn't that easy to do, and, yet, He is always there to bear them Himself and give us rest and relief by having faith that He will never leave nor forsake us! He has guardian angels all around you and when it is time, they will carry you back to God Who gave you and me life! I love you and mannnnnnnnnny more love you and want to see you well and yet Jesus is the Great Physician and the Healer of bodies and souls and praying by faith is what moves His heart to help you and me in our distress, pain and sorrows! Don't give up because that is what satan would have you to do..........BUUUUUTTT don't let him, for you are God's Child and He loves you with an everlasting love; therefore, hold on to Jesus and never let Him go and you will find peace and rest in Him forever more! You are welcome, Doug, and bless Brian's heart that is so full of love for Jesus and his family! He couldn't have any better fathers than he has with you as his earthly father and Jesus as his Heavenly Father! And Carol, of course, as his mother!!
