Brian's Battle - new update (about 12 hours old)

[size=medium] A God Night.

Posted 12 hours ago

Arriving home from work, I walked through the door last night at around 8:30. The aroma of dinner cooking made my stomach do flip-flops of joy since I hadn't eaten since lunch.

Carol had hamburger patties with brown gravy, french fries and rolls cooking. I was so hungry I started picking the fries off of the pan before my hand was swatted away with a gravy ladle! I'm just kidding, Carol actually ate a couple too while we waited for the rolls to finish browning.

She is wonderful!! And a good cook too. I'm going to show my appreciation by taking her out to a nice meal and even give her the option of which dollar menu to order from.

I walked into the living room to see Brian and he was sound asleep, sitting on the sofa with his head slumped over to the side. Carol said he just nodded off watching TV. We let him sleep while we ate our wonderful meal.

After eating we woke Brian up and moved him to his bed. He watched TV while waiting for his next round of meds. After giving him his meds and saying goodnight he said "Hey...give me a high five!" I asked him what the high five was for and he said, while smiling from ear to ear, he hadn't bled all day!! Awesome I said, you had a good day!

"No dad." he said..."I had a God day!"

And he did have a God day because I know he had prayed he would stop bleeding. And he did.

I agreed with him and told him to have a good night.

He said, "No dad, I'm going to have a God night!!"

And he did.

Oh, to have the spiritual strength that Brian has! What a wonderful blessing to hear not just a good day but a God Day! He gives us inspiration in all he does and says and our pains aren't so bad compared to his, but this young man keeps on going, going and going like the Energize Bunny, but he is endowed with the Spiritual Energy and Strength in the Joy of the Lord! So, glad the bleeding stopped! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for prayers answered for Brian and his family! Please help them to endure and overcome all things and be a comfort and encouragement to others! May he and each of you stay happy in Jesus, for He is the Healer of our sins, sicknesses and diseases and the truth, the way and everlasting life for spending eternity with HIm! Amen! :angel: God Bless! Betty
