Fantastic news...no new bleeding!! His pain levels are about the same with only the occasional spike of severe pain.

Brian seems to have a couple of good days followed by several rough days. He still isn't sleeping at night. For the last week or so we have been up and down with him about every hour or two.

He does manage to sleep some during the day, sometimes two hours at a time. Yesterday he managed to get some sleep while his teacher was here! Imagine that!!

Brenda, his home bound teacher, has an amazing amount of patience and does an excellent job working with Brian. Thank you Brenda, for being so patient and understanding.

This afternoon we have an appointment with a pain management clinic to see if they will accept Brian as a patient and help regulate his pain meds to optimize their effectiveness.

Brian told me he wants to try to go see a movie so I told him we would try this afternoon. At least there I might get a couple of hours of sleep!

Thanks Pete for the update on Brian! I pray that all will work out for him and you and Carol, Doug! He is in our Lord Jesus Christ's hands so keep the faith that you are all in God's plan and He will meet these needs, also, and it will turn out for everyone's good and for His purpose! have his teacher stay all night! everytime he wakes up she could start teaching then, bam!! right back to sleep.
